Mongolia
From
tall waterfalls, glacial boulders, rich changing forests to rolling
steppes and the desolation of the Gobi desert, Mongolia is an
adventure of sights. Marvel at the rugged mountain ranges,
enjoy the sense of expansiveness of the colorful grasslands where
there are few blacktop roads, no fences, small-scattered villages
and herds of horses running free. Mongols call their country the
“land of blue sky” because the sun shines an unprecedented
250 days a year. It is a free and wild land.
 Many
Mongolian live in large round felt and canvas tents called Gers,
which we know as Yurts. As nomadic herdsman, they use horses and
camels to travel with their herds of sheep, goats, and cattle
in the high mountain plateaus. Mongolia has been left behind by
the modern world; it is beautiful and exotic with a culture little
changed by time.
